So often with a wedding what one gets is the standard type of photography and wedding video, which in the end really is just the same as everyone else's. What we got from Johan was so much more than just another wedding video. He managed to capture the unique emotional mood of the event, both for us as the couple, and of our friends and family. The filming was very unintrusive, so that we never felt the presense of the camera, yet he managed to capture everything that was essential. What was also wonderful, was the effort he took to record personal messages from our friends, without us knowing at the time, so that not only was it a record of the event, but it was a diary of personal messages from those close to us. The final product was put together in a way that captures our individuality and personal style, done with a sense of humour, true to who we are. It is a video that we can watch again and again.

Dear Johan Alex and I received our DVD last week and finally managed to watch it over the Bank Holiday weekend in London - we were waiting for a moment when we could sit down the two of us and enjoy it!I wanted to write and say a very Big Thank you to you! It is absolutely beautiful and we are thrilled. We especially love the little touches you put in - like combining Joe's photograph of me putting Alex's ring on his finger as we said our vows, when you couldn't get round that side! We thought the way you "blended" in the original song 'Crazy little thing called love' to our First Dance - making us look like we are in time to the music and fairly good dancers as well, was inspired!!! hehe! The music overall is fantastic and we both love the final Black & White montage with Joe's wonderful photographs - it's simply brilliant from start to finish!!We have now watched the whole DVD about 4 times and I know our family & friends are going to enjoy it as much!! We can't wait to show them!Thank you your hard work and for capturing such special moments for us! "Cape Town Wedding Videos were so easy to work with, and from the first meeting where we discussed what we wanted, our video was placed into very capable hands. They understood the whole theme of our day and that all we wanted was a natural, fun, beautiful memory of an otherwise mind-blowing experience. We had a quick look through the DVD yesterday - it is absolutely fantastic! We're so happy and you've done a great job. The video/camera-work itself is excellent, and combined with the music it is a superb all round job.
It made both Adi and her sister cry again, so good work!
